Hi everybody!
I'm sorry I haven't wrote a blog post
for a while. We've been in New Zealand for the the past two weeks
doing all sorts of cool stuff. We went white water rafting and my
parents rafted down the highest commercially rafted water fall in the
world. It was 25 ft tall. I did not get to go down that bit
(thankfully). Then we went for a soak in a mud bath and slathered
sulfur mud all over ourselves. The next day we went horse riding over
beautiful mountainous terrain. After wards we drove to hobbiton where
parts of upcoming hobbit movie were filmed. Then we went sailing on
Lion New Zealand, the 80 ft MAXI yacht that Sir Peter Blake sailed
in the Whitbread round the world race (now the Volvo race). When we
came back it was my first day of school. Today is my second day. Wish
me luck!

What an adventure you had in NZ - loved the pictures. And, we know you will enjoy school, plus be an excellent student. Looking forward to more of your posts.
Hi Maia,
Your trip sounds heavenly. I am happy that you had so much fun.
I just saw your Mum's picture of you in your new school uniform. Very cool. When I was a kid I couldn't wait to wear a uniform, but my parents moved us to Canada the year I was to go to the new school (where the kids wore uniforms). I always felt like I'd missed out on something! ;-)

Hi Maia, After seeing the picture of you on your mom's blog, the one where you are holding the koala, all my girls want is to go to Austrailia so that they can hold a koala. We bet that was a pretty cool experience. Good luck with your studies in foreign slang!
